Voice of Brazil

I was invited to write some lines to my friend Hubert and colaborate with this amazing blog, II’ll share a little bit of my life with you all. I live in Recife, a city at the Brazilian coast. Here I work as an art-teacher in a regular school. I teach kids from 5 to 14 years old. I like to work with draw, painting, sculpture, but the audio-visual possibilities it’s what I’m in love with. This year, 2009, we made some movies, music, worked with photography, etc. This work with photography was very curious because we tried hard to aside our digital cameras and use match box instead of those. And believe me, it worked!!!! We made music together and I also learned a lot with them. We researched the Van Gogh’s life and the Expressionism Moviments. Well, this was a piece of my journey with my class students I hope that you appreciate my humble lines. Bye for now.
